A look at where each Big Ten team stands in Bart Torvik’s projections for the 2022-23 season – Inside the Hall

Pomeroy’s first rankings aren’t usually released until early October, but Tolvik has been constantly updating their predictions for the 2022-23 season since last spring.

Currently, Tolvik’s top five preseason teams next season are Gonzaga, Baylor, Tennessee, North Carolina and Duke. The highest-placed team in the Big Ten is his 11th-ranked Indiana State. explained here.

Some of Indiana’s non-conference opponents are highly rated in Tolbic’s preseason rankings. In addition to No. 4 Tar Heels, Indiana will also play Kansas (No. 10), Arizona (No. 13) and Xavier (No. 19) before league play begins.

With the latest CBS Sports BracketologyJerry Palm predicted that eight teams from the Big Ten will participate in the NCAA Tournament next spring.
