Springfield, Massachusetts. — The Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame and the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) have announced the top 10 nominees for the 2023 Nancy Lieberman Award.
The award, now in its 24th year, recognizes the top point guard in women’s NCAA Division I college basketball. To be eligible for this prestigious award, a candidate must demonstrate her leadership, playmaking and ball-handling skills to the floor of Nancy Lieberman in her 1996 Hall of Fame class.

In March, five finalists will be presented to the Lieberman and Hall of Fame selection committees. Nancy Her Lieberman Awards selection committee is made up of the top her staff in women’s college basketball, including her members of the media, head her coach, director of sports information and Hall of Famers.
The 2023 Liebermann Prize winners, along with four other members of the Women’s Starting Five, will be announced on a TBD date.
