2022 Golden State Warriors Summer League: Roster, schedule, TV channel, live stream, players to watch

After a brutal injury and two consecutive lottery appearances, Golden State Warriors Returning to the promised land last season, Boston Celtics He won his fourth title in the last eight seasons in the six games of the 2022 NBA Finals.

Now the Warriors embark on their master plan to win forever. They took the Stephen Curry-Klay Thompson-Draymond Green era with a new generation led by Jordan Poole and three talented lottery picks, including James Wiseman, Jonathan Kuminga, and Moses Moody. I want to connect. Of course, it’s not as easy as it sounds, but the Warriors aren’t shy about their ambitions.

Veterinarians were still leading last season, but young people, especially pools, played their part. The goal now is to gain more experience when Kuminga, Moody, and Wiseman are healthy. Given the number of young people on the roster, it’s no wonder the Warriors are playing in two summer leagues this year (California Classic and Las Vegas).

Everything you need to know is here as the action is already underway.

Featured player

Jonathan Kuminga: Last year’s 7th overall Kuminga played modestly to start the rookie season, but had some bright moments in the early rounds of the playoffs. He is a remarkable athlete and has shown some impressive flashes in the defensive end, but he still needs to refine his game. He is currently back in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and will not play until the team heads to Las Vegas, but he has a chance to do so in the Summer League.

Moses Moody: Moody didn’t play much as a rookie, but when he played, he became the youngest warrior in history to score 30 points. Nuggets March. His ability to shoot outside is clear and he aims to be at least a solid rotation player. However, he struggled with the first match of the California Classic, but he aims to bounce back when the team travels to Las Vegas later this month.

James Wiseman: The former second-placed pick tore the meniscus during the rookie season, eventually requiring a second knee surgery and hasn’t played in the NBA ever since. I’ve only seen him in the last 14 months in a few games in the G League, but unfortunately it’s not clear how much he will play in the Summer League. He experienced knee swelling following the G League stint, and the team is cautious about returning him to full 5 to 5 action. For now, the team expects him to play in Las Vegas.

Patrick Baldwin Jr.: With a pick in the first round of the year, the Warriors took Baldwin out of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. A former five-star new employee stayed home to play for his father at mid-level, but had a disastrous freshman season derailed by an ankle injury. Still, the possibilities remain, and he was another high score for the Warriors. But I’m still not sure if I can meet him this summer. He still needs to clear to play because his ankle problems are protracted.

Guisantos: Later in the second round of the year, the Warriors chose Guisantos from Brazil. You wouldn’t have heard of him before his draft, but he named himself when he rushed into the scene with his amazing Summer League debut at his California Classic. He’s still a long shot to make the final roster of the Warriors, but he’s a future-looking player.
