It’s the calm before the storm.

here is the latest NCAA DIII Women’s Cross-Country National Coaches Vote of the 2022 season, announced by the United States Track and Field Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday. Remember, this vote is done by counting votes from 10 members his coach, one for her from each of his 10 regions in the division. They also do weekly regional rankings.

Cross Country Voting and Rankings

Depending on how you look at it, there were two or three changes. Claremont Mud Scripps Moved up one place from 5th to tie Johns Hopkins in number 4, st lawrence took a leap carnegie melon Ranked 30th (Carnegie Mellon dropped to 31st as a result).

Claremont-Mad-Scripps impressed at last weekend’s Pomona Pitzer Invitational. With MF Athletic National Athlete of the Week Natalie Bitetti winning the individual title, Atenas finished second to his NCAA DII top 25 program, Viola, California. CMS put the entire scoring lineup in the top 15, but could not match his five scorers for the Eagles in the top 10.

Otherwise, it remained the same from week 4 onwards.

Don’t think for a second that it will stay that way after this weekend.

Connecticut College Invitational in Waterford, Connecticut; Oberlin Interregional Rumble in Oberlin, Ohio; Augustana Interregional Invitational in Rock Island, Illinois; and Logan Township, New Jersey A border battle between the Rowan regions that occurred. Don’t forget the Jim Drews/Tori Neubauer Invitational hosted by he UW-La Crosse in La Crosse, Wisconsin!

Keep an eye out for the Augustana Interregional Invitational and the Connecticut College Invitational.In the former, four top 10 teams will face off for second place. Wartburg Face No.3 UChicagoNo.7 Washington (Mo.) and number 10 Pomona Pizza (No.11 hope are also included). Next, seven of the latter’s top 20 programs are displayed: No. 6 MIT And No.8 Amherst heading.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 19th. 2022 NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships takes place at Forest Acres Golf Course in East Lansing, Michigan. The top athletes and teams of the 2022 season will take the course at 11:00 AM ET.
