here is the latest NCAA DIII Women’s Cross-Country National Coaches Vote of the 2022 season, announced by the United States Track and Field Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday. Remember, this vote is done by counting votes from 10 members his coach, one for her from each of his 10 regions in the division. They also do weekly regional rankings.

Cross Country Voting and Rankings

Once again unanimously voted #1 in the National Coaches poll, it’s not who you think it is. UChicago got all 10 votes in week 6, SUNY Geneseo, which was #1 each week for the first five weeks. The Maroons topped the strongest field of the year at last weekend’s Augustana Interregional Invitational. UChicago’s midrange depth was able to beat out the low stick that Aubrie Fisher gave him Still No. 2 WartburgThe Maroons went 5-7-10-14-18 for 54 points, while the Knights went 2-9-13-16-17 for 57 points.

Former No. 1 SUNY Geneseo dropped two spots to No. 3. Ten Carlton In the Battle of the Rowan Interregional Border. The Knights jousted throughout his 6k tournament, but the New York-based team only won him 37-38. St. Olaf It climbed five places from 14th to 9th, one place ahead of MIAC and Northern rival Carlton. Olds put in a strong effort at the Connecticut College Invitational where he placed second. Seven other teams moved up three or more ranks between weeks five and six.

  • Williams After finishing 3rd at the Connecticut College Invitational, he went from 16th to 12th.
  • UW-Eau Claire After finishing 5th at the Augustana Interregional Invitational, he moved from 26th to 14th.
  • Bates After placing 5th at the Connecticut College Invitational, she went from 19th to 16th.
  • Loras Coming from 23rd to 18th, he finished 6th at the Augustana Interregional Invitational behind Kassie Parker’s otherworldly low stick in 20:00.2.
  • University of Colorado After finishing 7th at the Augustana Interregional Invitational, he went from 22nd to 19th.

  • University of California, Santa Cruz After placing 9th in the Augustana Interregional Invitation, they moved from 28th to 22nd.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 19th. 2022 NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships It takes place at Forest Acres Golf Course in East Lansing, Michigan. The top athletes and teams of the 2022 season will take the course at 11:00 AM ET.
