Klay Thompson set the NBA record by knocking down the Warriors’ 14 three-pointers with a 149-124 victory over the Bulls.
Thompson scored 52 points, even though he played only in the first three-quarters of the game. He shot 14-24 across the arc.
He broke the record previously held by fellow “Splash Brother” Stephen Curry, who defeated the Pelican in 2016 and hit the Warriors’ 13 three-pointers.
Thompson’s record remains today, and after missing the 2019-20 season while recovering from ACL corruption, he has the opportunity to try to break his own record next season.
