A busy summer amateur season means schools across the country are reopening and college golf is back in season.
The national team’s defending champions, Stanford, have a loaded roster that includes the last two national champions and star freshmen. Wake Forest will return to the roster as a former player and All-His American player after a year off.
Check out the top 30 teams entering the 2020-21 college golf season.

2. Oregon
Had a few putts fallen and the game flipped, Oregon could have lifted last year’s national championship trophy after falling just short of Stanford. Heather Lynn and Sophie Kibbsgaard Nielsen will need to be replaced with quality players to fight for the title again.

3. Wake Forest
Over the past few seasons, Wake Forest have played like the best team in the country. This season may be the season where it all comes together. Led by seniors Rachel Kuhn and Lauren Walsh, along with sophomore Carolina Chakala, the Damon Deacons have a strong 1-2-3, and graduate student and former All-American Emilia Migliaccio is also on the team. Come back.

4. South Carolina
Hannah Darling and Louise Rydqvist are playing well as freshmen, and South Carolina needs to go one step further to reach its full potential. The Gamecocks performed as a top-five team for most of last season, and alongside Mathilde Kreis as the senior leader he added USC transferee Katherine Muzi.

5.UCLA
It’s a huge blow for UCLA to lose Emma Spitz, but seniors Annabelle Wilson and Emily Paltrinieri, junior Tai Akabane, sophomore Alessia Nobilio, Caroline Canales and Zoe Campos are all on the team’s quest. Few teams are as deep as the Bruins poised to play a key role in returning to match play.

6. Arizona
Last chance for romance in Greyhawk for hosts Arizona State, who just missed a spot in match play last season. Ashley Menne’s experience should play a pivotal role in keeping the program among national title contenders.

Ingrid Lindgrad doesn’t seem to have hit a bad shot in her college career. Sr. has been one of college golf’s most consistent players for the last three years and is a four-time All-American. Fellow senior Latanna, who was narrowly eliminated in Augusta 2022 at her National Women’s Amateur, Stone is another experienced player in her part leading a team that will be a nightmare to face in the competition.

9. Southern California
Amari Avery was just the player the Trojans needed last year. After his three wins in the spring semester (his first time playing golf in college), the sophomore is gearing up for a big season. Add in fellow juniors Cindy Kou, Mikaela Morado, and experienced players like junior Brianna Navarrosa and senior Malia Nam, and USC could return to national title contention this spring.

A transfer portal can transform your program in just one year. can’t believe it? Look at the Aggies. In his first year, Jerrod Chadwell’s team reached the semi-finals, and all five of his starters are back this season. Notable names include senior seniors Blanca Fernandez Garcia Poggio and Jenny Park, junior Zoe Slaughter (who may have the best name in college golf), and former first-team All-American Haley.・This is Cooper.
