They also signed a two-way deal with Micah Potter.

Cody Zeller is an interesting signature. There isn’t much that stands out about him other than he has a lot of NBA experience. Zeller can definitely contribute in camp and is good enough to contend for the Jazz position, where the center position is currently made up of Walker Kessler and Azbuike Udoka.
Micah Potter has even more intrigue. As Tony Jones said, he was first-team All-G League as a rookie and earned a 10-day contract.
His stats were solid in the G League, averaging 17 PPG and 9.9 RPG.
Micah Potter is 6, 10, 248 years old and played four years at Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin. She has 12.5 PPG (50-39-84 shooting), 5.9 RPG as a senior.
4 PPG, 3 RPG with 3 gms of DET. In GLeague, I put up 17.0 PPG, 9.9 RPG, 1.7 APG and 1.1 BPG. 44% 3 seconds. https://t.co/HsdnPPNWDx

Looking at the tapes, he can stretch the floor and is a pretty athletic player. He would be a great addition to the Stars and could be in the rotation this year.
But there is another element to this. Could this be the harbinger of another deal? Rob Pelinka was scheduled to appear tomorrow, Wednesday the 20th, but has been postponed. And we got the news just before these other signatures were made.
The Lakers have announced that they have moved GM Rob Pelinka and coach Durbin Hamm’s scheduled media interactions from Wednesday to Monday…scheduling them for the same Sept. 26 interview as Lakers players. .

Maybe this is because some players on the Jazz roster are moving? Maybe not, but we know, so it’s definitely something to watch Lakers now eyeing Bojan Bogdanovic.
