The athletic department said Wednesday that UW-Madison police were investigating “multiple crimes” after the school was notified of a photo of a student-athlete that was “never intended to be shared publicly.” .

One of the images released online reportedly shows members of the team lifting up their sports bras and posing after winning the 2021 Big Ten Championship.
“UWPD is investigating multiple crimes, including sharing sensitive photos without consent. UWPD has not investigated volleyball student-athletes for misconduct in this matter,” the statement said. continued.
