A Lonzo Ball Status Check, Good Dude DeRozan, Drummond’s Shot-Making, and Other Bulls Bullets

I learned some valuable lessons last year.

(1) Be aware of cheese intake
(2) Always buy sunscreen with 50 SPF
(3) Stretching before exercise
(4) Chicago Bulls Need Lonzo Ball

Let’s talk a little more about that last one.

  • Whether the Bulls will start the 2022-23 season as the starting point guard remains a mystery. Ball said he underwent surgery for a torn meniscus in January and his 6-8 week recovery schedule quickly turned into… *looking at the calendar*… 7 months. The last thing I heard about Ball was that he was moving. In a ‘very positive’ directionBut given his rehab process, it’s hard to interpret those words accurately. Does “very positive” mean he can fully strengthen to return to play? Or is it just less discomfort and a timetable has not yet been decided?
  • ESPN’s Jamal Collier Appears on NBA Today Discussing Ball’s update, he reiterates that the Bulls’ organization is “vague” when it comes to providing status updates. Noting that he signaled he might be ready to start, Collier soon wondered if the Bulls saw things the same way.

“I’ve spoken to someone in the Lonzo camp and he’s expressed confidence that he’s ready to start the season, but my guess is they’re playing a little slow to make Lonzo 100. I saw how their season changed in January, so I’m really ready to go. ” Collier said.

  • After all, Lonzo Ball’s camp lets you express yourself as confidently as you want. When the ball returns to court is up to the Bulls and his medical team. What the Bulls don’t want is for the ball to come out on the court and start experiencing similar problems, not to mention it’s been quite some time since he’s been out in his 5-on-5 action. Throwing him into NBA game speed only increased his chances of other injuries.
  • We’ve seen backlash against the idea that Goran Dragic was Lonzo Ball’s policyholder. But how can you look at it the other way? Look, no one said Dragic was close to being the same player as Ball. he is not But what Dragic offers is veteran experience in a position the Bulls have never had. If the ball goes down during the season, it’s not a particularly bad idea to trust Dragic’s overall basketball IQ over youngsters like Coby White, Ayo Dosunmu, and Darren Terry. Yes, there are questions about how long he’s left in the tank, but if Ball runs into trouble, he’ll give the Bulls another option. Simple as that.
  • Also, considering Ball’s question mark, it makes a lot of sense that the Bulls wanted Dragic to opt out of Eurobasket.
  • After DeMar DeRozan’s recent appearance in the Drew League, the All-Stars stepped outside to sign autographs and take pictures. TMZ Sports captured some footage of it hereShout out to DeRozan for being a man of the people! He honestly looks like such a great guy. He’s certainly the type of person who would love to help rebrand an organization.
  • ICYMI: Kevin Durant Reportedly Gave Brooklyn Nets Fat ultimatum for monday afternoonHe expects Sean Marks and Steve Nash to be fired if the organization wants to keep him. It didn’t take him long to respond to the news on Twitter with an interesting remark:
  • For those wondering why people like me are worried about Andre Drummond, the stats below do the trick.
  • Drummond’s field goal percentage at the rim has ranked below the NBA’s 37th percentile in seven of the past eight seasons. So if Vucevic’s interior is frustrating with his shot-making, it’s not that Drummond proved more efficient.
  • This is incredibly well crafted…
  • Hey, the Bulls have moved out of the bottom nine.
  • For next season, please note the following:
  • cool. great. Amazing. I love it.
  • He has already given us a lot.
