Allen Iverson led the Philadelphia 76ers to a stunning 107-101 overtime victory at the Los Angeles Lakers.

He ended up with 48 points, 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 5 steals. He is famous for overcoming Lakers guard Tyronn Lue, knocking down shots and stepping over Lue. The shot gave the Sixers a 103-99 lead, with less than a minute left in overtime. Iverson played 52:57 in the game.

Dikembe Mutombo was also active in Philadelphia. He finished with 13 points, 16 rebounds and 5 block shots. The Sixers were 14 points behind the Lakers during the match.

Shaquille O’Neal did everything he could for the Lakers, but not enough to win. He finished with 44 points, 20 rebounds and 5 assists. Rick Fox scored 19 points and Kobe Bryant scored 15 points.

Despite being an Iverson hero, Los Angeles won the series in five games. Game 1 of the NBA Finals was the only defeat after the 2001 season.
