Winner

Gordon L When Henry L He scored 640 points in a tiebreaker and took him to a tiebreaker. Henry L In tiebreaker # 1, you won how many different goal scorers are in the final. The guess was 9, which was closer to the correct answer (28) than Gordon L’s call (3).

There is no way around it: D-III # The Game was whitish. The two most popular men’s teams (# 2 Oklahoma Christian and # 1 Middlebury) scored the two highest scores. The most popular women’s team — # 1 Middlebury — was the team with the second highest score. Only one entry that ended in the top 30 did not include both Middlebury in the women’s category and OC in the men’s category. St. Olav Men was second in scoring and third in popularity, but the school club actually led the women’s division and was the fourth-chosen team, but well below the Big Top 2.

  3. # 1 Portland (24.3%)
  4. # 3 St. Olav (23.8%)
  5. # 2 Lehi (9.2%)

Middlebury was an even bigger favorite this year than last year, which accounted for 70% of the picks. Portland provided only 50 points and Lehi provided only 40 points, making these difficult choices to overcome. # 1 Wellsley, the third highest scoring team and finalist, was the sixth most popular option.

Top 5 Men’s Teams

  1. # 1 Middlebury (57.2%)
  2. # 3 Oklahoma Christian (51.3%)
  3. # 1 St. Olav (43.3%)
  4. # 1 Colorado College (23.7%)
  5. # 1 berry (15.7%)

Picks are clearly concentrated in the Middlebury, OC, and Olaf groups. So the rest of the picks were pretty scattered. Bottomseed Grace (2.9%) and Scranton (1.5%) each scored 80 points, surpassing Middlebury with the third highest score in the tournament, but participants showed little confidence in Underdog. did not.

Perfect lineup

  • # 1 Middlebury W
  • # 3 Oklahoma Christian M
  • # 1 St. Olav M
  • # 3 St. Olav W
  • Either # 4 Grace M, # 4 Scranton M, or # 1 Wellsley W

Tie breaker

First: How many players will score goals in either final? This time it rose from 26 last year to 28.

Second: What is the total number of goals allowed by Berry’s men’s and women’s division teams in pool play? 68 goals were scored for two separate belly clubs. Multiple shutouts were required, some 960. This is the best guess, even if charitably assumed to be 96, meaning an average of 15 goals or more per match.

Third: What is the total number of points earned by the losing quarterfinal teams in both divisions in the quarterfinal round? With their defeat, the team managed 57 goals. The average guess was just below 50, so it’s not Amazing It’s far away, but not so close to Bullseye.

Choice statistics

Top 5 female teams

  1. # 1 North Carolina (73.58%)
  2. # 2 Washington (29.9%)
  3. # 3 Vermont (27.6%)
  4. # 1 Colorado (15.3%)
  5. # 1 Carlton (15.2%)

Now, Large scale My favorite UNC was able to drop 135 big teams into most of the entry scorecards and offer them as the highest scoring teams. Colorado was the second highest scorer, but two off-list teams, the University of California, Davis and the University of California, San Diego, outperformed Carlton and Washington. Each has 90 people and has joined Vermont as the third best candidate in the women’s category. Conversely, upset victims (UBC, Tufts, Stanford, Georgia) were avoided, but few entries chose to choose the sowing person under the University of California, San Diego.

Top 5 Men’s Teams

  1. # 1 Brown (56.2%)
  2. # 1 North Carolina (51.3%)
  3. # 2 Georgia (34.6%)
  4. # 4 Washington (29.5%)
  5. # 3 Vermont (16.9%)

Everyone, I was wrong. Washington thought it would be the championship’s favorite and most popular and decisive men’s team. I underestimated the appeal of being a 2021 finalist like Georgia. It caught the attention of both divisions and Washington was very surprised to me as it was less than one-third of the lineup. UNC was the top scoring team and Brown was fourth, but there were two overlooked teams, California (5.1%) and Minnesota (12.5%). Each recorded a turmoil in pool play, adding 120 points to the previous quarter’s win. Vermont turned out to be a mine stepped on by quite a few players.

Perfect lineup

  • # 1 North Carolina M
  • # 1 North Carolina W
  • # 3 California M
  • # 3 Minnesota M
  • # 1 Colorado W

With a total of 670 points, it is well above the top entries. You could have done it!

Tie breaker

First: Will the total number of blocks be recorded in the semi-final game? The total was 60, almost three times the average estimate and just above 21. Michael Arbutine was the only participant who chose the sum correctly.

Second: How many total points can I get against the number one seed (Brown M and North Carolina W) in pool play? 59 points were scored against the team above Pool A in play, and UNC led the opponent with 26 goals. Nine entries are just right.

Third: How many goals do teams in the Southeast (Georgia M, Georgia W, Florida W, Auburn M) score in total while playing the pool and brackets? Sure, it’s hard to get, but 232 was the correct number. Given the number of variant paths, there are many reasonable potential options. However, three different entries arrived at this number: Daniel Prentice, Nate Hess, and Javiel Martinez.

Charlie’s recommendation

Forty-one of the 309 entries outnumbered Eisenhood, who finished with 26 points. This brings Charlie to about the 86th percentile, as he has historically built, and still has a strong score.

DI Women’s

  • Quarterfinals: # 1 North Carolina, # 2 Colorado, # 3 Carlton, # 4 UC Santa Barbara, # 5 Washington, # 7 Tufts, # 9 Vermont, # 10 UC San Diego
  • Semifinals: # 1 North Carolina, # 2 Colorado, # 3 Carlton, # 5 Washington
  • Finals: # 1 North Carolina, # 2 Colorado
  • Champion: # 1 North Carolina
  • Score: 15

Charlie far outperformed the women’s field, averaging almost 3 points. What he won a lot was to win Colorado in the final. Over 50% of the field expected to attend Carlton, the University of California, Santa Barbara, or Washington. The selection rate for the 7th and 8th spots is 40-50% (the top 5 seeds and Vermont were all over 60%). Tufts, UBC, Stanford, and the University of California, San Diego are all included in the mix, and Charlie got one of the two. Georgia and the University of California, Davis also had more than 20%.

DI Men’s

  • Quarterfinals: # 1 Brown, # 2 Colorado, # 3 North Carolina, # 4 Pittsburgh, # 5 Georgia, # 6 Vermont, # 8 Karpol SLO, # 14 Washington
  • Semifinals: # 1 Brown, # 2 Colorado, # 3 North Carolina, # 4 Pittsburgh
  • Finals: # 1 Brown, # 2 Colorado
  • Champion: # 2 Colorado
  • Score: 11

Charlie was just above the average in this category, just over 10 points. Georgia was a very popular semi-final pick, but Pittsburgh was actually behind Vermont! After those teams, SLO was the only other team selected by more than 10% of entries. UNC returned it by knocking out in the semi-finals, but was helped by the fact that only 18.8% of the entries repeated Darkside.
