College football picks, schedule: Predictions against the spread, odds for big games on Black Friday

Especially in the United States, Deal Seek, an important part of Black Friday, plays an important role. With quite a few college football games with Rivalry Week starting a day earlier than his, it’s likely that CBS Sports’ expert selection and predictions will find some value. Week 13 wastes no time getting started. The six teams in the College Football Playoff rankings will see action in one showdown in the top 25 to determine how part of the postseason will play out.

In that matchup, No. 19 Tulane traveled to No. 24 Cincinnati and qualified for the AAC Championship Game, earning a spot as the group of five highest-rated teams in the CFP rankings. The loser isn’t outright eliminated from the conference race, but the tight guy needs some help creating a rematch opportunity given his AAC standings.

Elsewhere, the Battle Line rivalry reignites as Arkansas visits Missouri for the first of two SECs on CBS Game of the Week. No. 23 Texas will try to stop stop-and-start status in the CFP rankings when hosting Baylor. And No. 16 Florida State, one of college football’s most hotly contested rivals, has come to prominence in the second half of the season as he hosts in-state foes Florida. Trying to prove that things are not a fluke.

From opening kickoffs to college football coverage, watch CBS Sports all day. Check out our expert picks for the best Black Friday games of Week 13.

Odds by Caesars Sportsbook | Always Eastern

Utah and Boise

Noon | CBS, CBSSports.com, CBS Sports AppThe oddsmakers have Utah as a significant underdog with 17 points. That’s a big number and I’m reluctant to endorse it. Both teams have their backs running mainstays on offense, and perhaps more importantly, this game kicks off at 10 a.m. local time on Friday. Given the circumstances, it’s easy to imagine both offenses getting off to a slow start. Prediction: less than 51.5 — Austin Nivison

No. 23 Texas Baylor

noon | ESPN, Hubo TV (Try it for free) – The oddsmakers overestimated Texas throughout the year despite a four-loss season, and that trend continues in the finale. He’s the only team since the Red River Showdown that the Longhorns have beaten by more than 8.5 points: Kansas State. Baylor is ready to handle Texas athletes, even on the roads of Austin. Prediction: Baylor +8.5 — Shehan Jeyaraja

No. 19 Tulane at No. 24 Cincinnati

Noon | ABC, Hubo TV (Try it for free) – The Green Wave and Bearcats will face off at Nipert Stadium in the biggest AAC game of the year. The winner will host next week’s conference championship game, and the loser will need to knock down some dominoes to earn a rematch.Tulane recorded 310 rushing yards in a 59-24 win over SMU last week. , on the ground he got on track scoring five touchdowns. Cincinnati is making his third straight win on defense, allowing just 202 total yards in his 23-3 win over Temple last week, holding the Owls to 3.67 yards per play and four turnovers. was forced to You should seek out the bearcat’s defenses and win the hellish battle. Prediction: Cincinnati -2 — Barret Sally

Arkansas Missouri

Featured games | | Missouri Tigers vs Arkansas Razorbacks

3:30 p.m. | CBS, CBSSports.com, CBS Sports AppOf the 14 total SEC games played by the duo, 9 were played below this point total. Missouri ranks 7th nationally in possession time and Arkansas ranks 8th in rushing offense, so there could be long clock bleeding in this matchup. Missouri’s red zone defense is terrifying, but Arkansas ranks 86th nationally in red zone offense. It could be a busy day for kickers. Prediction: less than 55.5 — David Cobb

Florida Florida State 16th

Featured games | | Florida State Seminoles vs. Florida Gators

7:30 PM | ABC, Hubo TV (Try it for free) – While the series is heating up, it’s an interesting wrinkle in the Florida-State rivalry that results have barely come close in recent years. Since 2007, the Gators and Seminoles have won only two games in single digits. I think we’ll get another double-digit win here on Friday. This favors his team at home. Forecast: Florida -9.5 — Chip Patterson
