College World Series 2022 live score, updates, highlights from Ole Miss vs. Oklahoma Game 1

The end of the college baseball season is just around the corner. But first, you need to crown the champion.

Two unseeded teams will appear in the finals of this year’s College World Series. Olemis struggled during conference play to 14-16 at the SEC, but the rebels were active in the postseason, winning eight of the nine NCAA tournament games so far. Winning the College World Series in the 3rd Arkansas shows that it can be a problem for other teams.

Olemis sent the rebels to the finals in two games, including a four-hit, seven-strikeout, and complete game masterpiece by Dylan Delucia, with two Razorbacks combinations.

Oklahoma wants to win another national championship, following the example set by its softball team. Sooners didn’t participate in tournament play with exactly the same amount of hype as contemporary softball, but did exactly what they needed to do in the NCAA tournament. The OU scored relatively easily, including a 16-run explosion against Liberty at the NCAA Regional and an 11-run show against Virginia Tech to send the OU to the finals.

The match should be a fascinating series. Teams that participate in fairly unprecedented tournaments have the opportunity to add themselves to the prestigious legacy of the College World Series.
