Could the Jaylen Brown-Kevin Durant trade rumor saga finally be coming to an end for the Boston Celtics?

did it boston celtics Story revolves around rumors the team was in talks with the Brooklyn Nets about Tradestar’s Celtic swing Jalen Brown For veteran forwards Kevin Durant Is it finally the end?according to the new report From Steve Bulpett of the Heavy, the Nets front office is scheduled to meet with Durant this week, but the exact purpose of that meeting remains unclear.

KD “will be meeting with the owners this week” about the Nets star’s grievances, according to Bullpett’s unnamed league executive sources. “I don’t know if it’s fixed here,” they added. “But it could be.”

So where does Boston fit in all of this?

Clearly, the whole process surrounding Durant’s trade request and how the Nets handled it has confused other front office feathers with the Celtics being tied to Brooklyn via a leak about Brown. I am letting

“When I talk to Brooklyn, I don’t think some teams are too happy to see it in the press,” said the head of human resources for the non-Boston team. “It doesn’t help. I’ve spoken to some teams and they’re not happy with the rumors creeping out of it through all of this.”

“That’s not a good way to do business,” they suggested.

Bulpet himself suspected that Brooklyn’s intent was to deliberately undermine the Celtics’ ties with Brown.

“That’s probably why they’re not getting anything done, and why they haven’t spoken in a while. I don’t think they’re going to get anything done in Boston.”

This was all a ruse to get Durant back into the team after a series of in-season trades to acquire and move James Harden, who left the Nets with an incomplete roster by the time the postseason arrived. Is not it?

As in Balpet’s question, it’s not common for teams to divulge false information with the explicit intention of harming their rivals.

But it’s not unprecedented either. If it happens to coincide with their goal of putting a team together, it can actually make a lot of sense.

On the Celtics’ side, the addition of Malcolm Brogdon and Danilo Gallinari will be a bit of a reprieve for fans eager to see what a beefed-up version of last season’s Finals squad can do. right.

Brown’s relationship with the Boston front office has weathered similar situations in the past.

All this might seem like a hoot for the not-too-distant future if it ultimately turns out that the Celtics had no serious interest in making the move from the Georgian native.
