No. 16 Duke will try No. 3 for the opponent’s first win on their home court when the Blue Devils face Boston College on Saturday at the Conte Forum.
Duke suffered a humiliating 84-60 loss at North Carolina State Wednesday night, leaving players and coaches wondering how they allowed this to happen.
That loss, combined with an 81-70 setback at Wake Forest on December 20, dropped the Blue Devils (11-4, 2-2 ACC) to 0-2 in a true road game of the season.
The good news for Duke is that their next game will be against a team they have already lost this season. On December 3, the Blues kicked off his ACC game at Cameron Indoor Stadium with his 75–59 victory over Boston College.
That said, the Blue Devils put up a much better effort on the Eagles’ home court than they did at PNC Arena Wednesday night when NC State scored the game’s first 15 points while thrashing Duke. I know I have to.
