Five best landing spots for Duane Washington Jr.

When I saw, I had two immediate thoughts Indiana Pacers Was shaking the original Ohio Defend Duane Washington Jr. after the rookie season. The first was “a strange man” and the second was “thank God”. The Pacers are shipwrecks and Washington is better than anywhere else. They don’t have an identity so far and they are having a hard time really taking care of their future. Not the best place for newcomers.

Based on his play in the rookie campaign last season, Washington has proved that he can be a valuable rotation player in the league. He showed the flash of elite and streak shoots, shot making, and improved paths and defenses from his college days.

Washington averaged 9.9 points in a rookie season match against the Indiana Pacers and an average of 20 minutes per contest.

He initially signed a two-way contract, but was converted to a standard contract after the season. He was then released from the Pacers and was able to offer Deandre Ayton his largest contract offer sheet. However, Sands matches the offer sheet that Pacers gave to Eighton, and Eighton will return to Phoenix. It’s kind of a mess for the Pacers.

The NBA team may have up to two players under an NBA two-way contract who spend most of the season in the NBA G League and spend less than 45 days with the NBA team. Two-way players will be paid the corresponding daily amount based on the number of days they play in each league. Only players prior to the NBA’s Fourth Season can sign a one-season or two-season two-way contract.

Where could the former Back Eyeguard land after Washington and the Pacers broke up?

This is obvious, and what I have already seen comes to mind. The formula for playing and succeeding with LeBron James is not difficult. Surround him with archers and guys who can make dribbles — also known as Duane Washington Jr.

There’s no reason Washington can’t have a season like Austin Reaves, Talen Horton-Tucker, and even Malik Monk spent this past season. Russell Westbrook is struggling, but still has an average of 10 assists per game, and Anthony Davis is the NBA’s top five player if he’s healthy. Definitely a big case at this point.

If they can win all the big three on the court at the same time, Washington could be the perfect glove for the team.

Cleveland Cavaliers

What is a good list with a little prejudice? I’m a Cavs fan and want to take Washington off the bench. That’s most of the reason. The Cavs have opposed grain and the traditional NBA in the size they play. So bringing a guy like Washington can help with that.

In addition, they haven’t extended the contract between Caris LeVert and Collin Sexton yet, so if they don’t do it, especially LeBron James will return. But now I’m not going to get off that rabbit hole.

Dallas Mavericks

I’m pretty sure that all shooters in the league will now give up their arms and legs to play with Luka Doncic. One of the best passers-by in the game, Doncic has an elite vision and can be found on the court at any time. In addition, Mavericks has just lost Jalen Brunson to New York, so they need guards to intervene and fill the gap. Washington doesn’t have to be 20 points per man in the game, but he can intervene and give Mavericks the necessary shooting help next to Reggie Bullock and Dorian Finney-Smith.

Sands is one of the five or six teams that will be the main candidates for the NBA Championship next season, with Center Deandre Ayton pushing the chips into the middle of the table by re-signing the biggest deal.

Also, the Pacers have freed Washington to make room for signing Deandre Ayton, so Washington feels appropriate to land with Sands and inevitably play with Ayton. In addition, the shooter playing with Chris Paul and Devin Booker should soon love life.

Oklahoma City Thunder

It’s a little off the wall, but I really like the fit. First of all, adding a shooter can’t hurt, as Thunder was the last to die in the percentage of three-point field goals during this past season. In addition, Thunder has a very solid young core in Josh Giddey, Chet Holmgren and Treman. Washington fits the team very well and can help them grow. Washington has the potential to be the key to Thunder’s evolution.
