Florida forces deciding game vs. OU; Texas Tech eliminated by Notre Dame

Stateboro, Georgia-Jack Findlay survived the bases loaded jam in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the final four outs, and Notre Dame defeated Texas Tech 2-1 on Sunday to beat Stateboro Regional.

Finnvold finished the game and allowed 5 hits and 2 runs. Four of the hits came sixth when Sooners (39-21) drew the game 2-2. The 9 singles were erased by the double play at the end of the game.

BT Riopel scored a doubled Stalin Thompson and broke the tie in 7th place. Only two batters, Carson Atwood (2-4), lost.

Florida (42-23) started with Jud Fabian’s lead-off homer and added another four runs for the eighth time. Fabian also started scoring on his fourth home run, giving him 10 multihomer games in his career.
