Georgia, Michigan, TCU and Ohio State make the 2022 College Football Playoff

The top four teams in the 2022 College Football Playoff Rankings will advance to the playoffs: No. 1 Georgia, No. 2 Michigan, No. 3 TCU and No. 4 Ohio State.

Before we break down the new CFP top 25, here is the list of new rankings.

Ohio ranked fourth

Ohio State University is the only new entrant to the top four of the final College Football Playoff Rankings. The Buckeyes didn’t play in the conference championship weekend, but they did qualify thanks to an 11-1 record. He is one of only four teams to have one loss or less, and Ohio State is one of them.

The Buckeyes replaced Southern California in the top four after the Trojans lost the Pac-12 Championship Game.

Alabama and Tennessee are out

The first two teams on the 2022 college football playoff field are No. 5 Alabama and No. 6 Tennessee. Two SEC teams earned him the 5th and his 6th spot as his two-loss team in the highest rankings. Tennessee is behind Alabama despite a close win.
