It’s never too early to start thinking about postseason honors. Especially when he has the 2022-23 college golf season looming.
Topping Golfweek’s preseason Women’s First Team All-American list is none other than world’s No. 1 amateur, defending national champion and ANNIKA Award winner Rose Zhang. During her freshman year at Stanford University, Chan did what she was good at. She won her first three starts as a freshman, setting her up for her next big year (and she’s not the only cardinal on the list).

Amari Avery, University of Southern California
Avery joined the Trojans as a spring freshman last season and added a third game at the NCAA Stanford Regional after winning two of his first three games. Don’t be surprised if she has an even better season this year.

Hannah Darling, South Carolina
She was a first-team All-SEC thanks to five top-five finishes in ten starts as a freshman last year.The 2021 R&A Girls Amateur Champions will be key to South Carolina’s success this season .

Madison Hinson-Torchard, Oklahoma
Big 12 Player of the Year and second team All-American last season after earning medalist honors at the NCAA Stillwater Regional. Added six top 10 finishes and finished in the top 25 in all tournaments except the NCAA Championship (T-31).

Rachel Kuhn, Wake Forest
Kuhn is the 2022 ACC Player of the Year, a first-team All-American, and represented the United States in both the Arnold Palmer Cup and Curtis Cup this summer. Expect big years.

Ingrid Lindblad, LSU
She may be the most consistent player in women’s college golf. The veteran Swede says that as a Tiger he won seven times and in 25 starts he has 20 top 10 finishes. For the past three years, she has been an ANNIKA award finalist and a Golf Week first team she is also an All-American.

Ashley Lau, Michigan
In his four-year career, he has never missed a streak of 39 appearances. Co-medalist at the Tulane Classic, his six finishes in the top five, including his three wins at the VyStar Gators Invitational, Briar’s Creek Invitational and Indiana Invitational.

Hsin-Yu (Cynthia) Lu, Oregon
Last season’s Pac-12 Champion became the player in program history to earn all Pac-12 First Team honors in consecutive seasons. Mason Rudolph He won the championship and played a key role in helping Oregon reach the finals with his 2022 NCAA Championship.

Benedetta Moresco, Alabama
Last year, as a sophomore, he won his first college championship at Alley and added five more top-10 finishes in 11 starts.

Brooke Sea, Stamford
Seay was the senior leader this season and played a key role for Stanford in last season’s NCAA championship victory. The All-American and All-Pack-12 first-team selection has five top-10 finishes in seven starts and works well alongside his All-American teammates.
