“If There Are Any Diplomats Watching..”: Shaquille O’Neal Broke Silence on Dennis Rodman’s North Korea Visit in 2013

Dennis Rodman is widely regarded as the original bad boy of the NBA. The flamboyant star was a hardwood, fearless character, but after his retirement, he shocked the world. Worm travels to North Korea with three members of the Harlem Globetrotters. NBA Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal offered advice on Rodman’s difficult road trip.

In 2013, Rodman began a bond with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un. Notably, his first visit in 2013 was to promote a basketball brand in the country. But he soon learned that the North Korean leader was a die-hard basketball fan. The pair, who held a soft spot for the Bulls, became friends. Likewise, the improbable bond created a big buzz around the world.

but, Shaquille O’Neal raised a voice of concern. During the interview, Big Diesel said Rodman’s trip was a very big risk.

2013 marked the beginning of Rodman’s role as an unofficial US diplomat. Worm even went to Singapore to attend the summit between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un.The U.S. denies his role as a diplomat, but his five-time NBA champion feels he deserves it, especially when Rodman even rants helped Release Kenneth Ba from North Korea. His bond with the North Korean leader seems solid, calling him his lifelong friend.

Similarly, Rodman recently wrote a separate chapter on his role as a diplomat. Former Defensive Player of the Year Britney claimed he was heading to Russia to bring Griner home.but the worm retreated of his commitment soon after. There’s still no solid evidence as to why Rodman does the job.
