Illini basketball’s 2022-23 Big Ten opponents announced

Big Ten announced the pairing of the men’s basketball 2022-23 conference slate on Thursday — an overview of the future. Blood UnderwoodLeague teams will play this season.

Here are Irini’s big ten singles and two plays in 2022-23.

  • Home and away: Indiana, Minnesota, Nebraska, Northwest, Ohio, Penn, Wisconsin.
  • Home only: Michigan, Michigan State University, Rutgers University
  • Away only: Iowa, Maryland, Purdue

Illini gained a share of the Big Ten titles on 15-5 conference records last season. This was the first regular season title of the program since 2005. Underwood has reached 44-16 (.733) in Big Ten Play over the last three years. This is the best mark of the conference during that period.

Favorable draw for singles: The Big Ten title chase is a counting game, and in that sense, Irini should feel good about the team they get to avoid playing twice. The top eight big ten teams in Bad Torvic’s pre-season forecast are: Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Purdue, Michigan, Iowa, Maryland, Rutgers. Irini only plays one of those teams twice (Indiana). In Illinois, there are some tough road games in single-player with trips to Iowa, Maryland, and Purdue. However, Underwood’s team can dodge Jersey Mike’s Arena (aka The RAC) and Michigan. Michigan probably wanted revenge on the dagger. Trent Frazier It was a hit in East Lansing and Ann Arbor last season.

Bottom feeder full plate: Irini can play twice at Pennsylvania State University, Nebraska, Northwest, and Minnesota. They are the four teams that played last Wednesday in the Big Tent Tournament, and Bart Torvik again predicts them as the bottom four teams in the league. For reference, Illinois was only able to play one of these teams twice last season (Northwestern). Can you chalk them as a guaranteed victory? No. If so, Nebraska wouldn’t have won the call center on the last day of the regular season, and Illinois wouldn’t have cut the net in Champaign that night. That said, having fewer enemies is an advantage, especially for the Illinois team, which has a lot of new faces and can take a long time to click.

Tough double trio: Even if you are one of the fans who wants the most favorable schedule possible, you must be content with the double help of Illinois-Indiana this season. Most domestic experts have tabbed Hoosiers as a pre-season favorite for Big Ten. Irini will have the opportunity to challenge that theory. Bart Torvik doesn’t love Ohio State University (61st overall) and Wisconsin (66th overall) for next season, but at least one could be too low in rank. Some have the Birth of the Top 25 teams in the preseason. Chris Holtman take away Appeal for justice When Zed keyWe will also add some great transfers and 2022 recruitment classes ranked in the top 10 nationwide. And wherever Wisconsin was nailed in the preseason, badgers have consistently proved that people are wrong. When Tyler Wall, Chucky Hepburn When Stephen Crawl Back, they will never be a pushover.

Comparison with IU: If Illinois and Indiana are really top league title candidates, Illinois has a huge scheduling advantage. Hoosiers is single-player against three of these four bottom feeders. In the meantime, they need to be soaked again with things like Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Michigan, Padu, and Rutgers.
