Joel Embiid to miss the upcoming back-to-back set with mid-foot sprain

I have even worse news. James Harden is still out with a right ankle sprain. Tyrese Maxey will be re-evaluated in a few weeks after suffering a minor fracture in his left leg. And now Joel Embiid is at least on the cusp of the next back-to-back set vs. brooklyn nets The Charlotte Hornets, according to the Sixers.

The team ruled out Embiid for a left “middle foot sprain” in the slate on Tuesday and Wednesday. He will be re-evaluated in the near future. When Georges Niang was chasing a play that leaked into traffic, he seemed to wind it up.

Embiid finishes the game, but finds that something is bothering him.

Maxey was the only one of the three to leave the game immediately.

Now, facing off against Ben Simmons has lost a lot of its luster. And the Sixers are going to have to get weird with their lineup. All eyes will be on 37-year-old PJ Tucker. Hopefully they don’t ask him to fuck everyone else.
