Kevin Durant announced just four years ago that he would leave Oklahoma City Thunder to sign the Golden State Warriors.

This move was widely criticized because Durant had previously said he wanted to stay in Thunder. The Warriors have eliminated the Durants Thunder in seven Western Conference Finals games after the 73-9 season.

As expected, the Warriors won consecutive championships with his new team in the first two seasons of Durrants after many shortages in Oklahoma City. Last season, the Golden State tore the Achilles tendon and missed the third straight title after Klay Thompson tore the ACL.

Durant average 25.8 points, 7.1 rebounds and 5.4 assists per game in 3 seasons with the Warriors. While playing in his Golden State, he averaged 29.6 points, 7.1 rebounds and 4.5 per postseason game. He was named Finals MVP in 2017 and 2018.

Durant rejoined a new team of free agents this offseason and signed with Brooklyn Nets. He hasn’t made his debut on the team yet due to Achilles’ injury, but is expected to be ready to play by the beginning of next season.
