L.A. In ‘Ongoing Talks’ With Jazz About Bojan Bogdanovic & Russell Westbrook Trade

With training camp less than two weeks away, the Los Angeles Lakers are heading into the 2022-23 season with their current roster.

Russell Westbrook has been the subject of numerous trade talks over the summer, but despite the obvious shooting and fielding needs, no deal has yet come to fruition. When he acquired Beverly, he worked on those two areas, but another move was thought to be coming.

Although things have calmed down recently, Los Angeles appears to remain involved with Utah over another deal that could involve Bojan Bogdanovic. athletic tony jones:

The Jazz currently have 17 players, so at some point before the regular season begins, they’ll have to reduce their roster by at least two. In addition, his office is not just for accepting business negotiations. League sources at least point to a market for Bogdanovic, with a lot of interest in his 6.8-foot shot. However, while talks are underway with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Jazz don’t appear to be particularly close at this point to a trade that could acquire even more assets and consolidate their roster.

The Jazz have made it clear they’re on their way to rebuilding and are over the top of their roster, so it makes sense to consider trading a veteran in exchange for a draft pick. It makes a lot of sense as a bigger winger who can shoot , but he has quite a few defensive limitations.

So far, someone like Bogdanovich has a higher asking price, LA may be able to make a deal if willing to include pick swap with WestbrookThe Jazz will be making some decisions about who to keep on the team and during the season, and currently feel like Bogdanovic is the most likely candidate to transfer.

The Lakers’ willingness to include both 2027 and 2029 first-round draft picks could come down to a deal that includes Westbrook for the Jazz player package.

Suns, Knicks, Mavericks also interested in Bojan Bogdanovic

Bogdanovic will certainly play a big role for the Lakers, but they’re not the only ones interested in trading him.Phoenix Suns, New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks I was involved with a veteranSo, it will be interesting to see who wins the bid in the end.
