With training camp less than two weeks away, the Los Angeles Lakers are heading into the 2022-23 season with their current roster.
Russell Westbrook has been the subject of numerous trade talks over the summer, but despite the obvious shooting and fielding needs, no deal has yet come to fruition. When he acquired Beverly, he worked on those two areas, but another move was thought to be coming.

The Lakers’ willingness to include both 2027 and 2029 first-round draft picks could come down to a deal that includes Westbrook for the Jazz player package.
