Mark Vital’s Early Career
Mark grew up in Louisiana and showed talent from an early age. He was one of the best high school basketball players of his generation. This landed him a contract at Baylor University. When Baylor won his 2021 NCAA Championship, he was one of the greatest players of all time. Vital then declared for the NBA Draft.
Journey to the NFL
Unfortunately for Mark, he was undrafted in the NBA Draft and signed with the Blazer Summer League team. He played only three of his games and was less active on the court. He decided that he had no future in the NBA and decided to try something professional athletes would not normally try. he changed the sport. He started practicing soccer again. Something he hasn’t done since he was 13. He found himself good and in 2021 Kansas City he was able to sign with the Chiefs’ practice team. He then signed a reserve/future contract with the Chiefs on February 2, 2022.
Can he make it in the NFL?
This is the question many experts are asking today.
