NBA 2K23: LeBron James, Anthony Davis highest-rated L.A. Lakers

Friday’s release of NBA 2K23 brings with it everyone’s favorite annual tradition of discussing video game ratings. Each year, 2K’s release coincides with the build-up of the season itself, taking place during the summer and offseason when people have nothing to do but discuss ratings.

for lakers This season, it’s a bit of an overwhelming argument. LeBron his James remains the best player in the Lakers with a 96 rating. Also, he is one of the best players in the league, only Giannis his Antetokounmpo ranks higher than him. Anthony Davis, on the other hand, is 90.

After that, both Russell Westbrook and Patrick Beverley were rated 78, a pretty notable dropdown to the next best player on the roster.

Here’s the full list of overall ratings for the Lakers roster:

  • LeBron James – 96
  • Anthony Davis – 90
  • Patrick Beverly – 78
  • Russell Westbrook – 78
  • Thomas Bryant – 76
  • Ronnie Walker IV – 75
  • Kendrick Nunn – 74
  • Austin Reeves – 74
  • Troy Brown Jr. – 72
  • Juan Toscano Anderson – 72
  • Damian Jones – 72
  • Wenen Gabriel – 71
  • Max Christie – 70
  • Scottie Pippen Jr. – 68
  • Cole Swayder – 67
  • Jay Huff – 67

To provoke a more friendly and wholesome discussion, let’s take a look at some specific ratings for different skills. I have 79

After a disastrous year from distance last season, AD’s 3-point rate of 70 is the second-lowest on the team, with only Jones ranked lower. Russ sits just above him with a 72 3-point rating.

PatBev has a Perimeter Defensive Rating of 90 and LeBron’s (Generous) Rating of 89. AD is next highest at 80, with Walker and Russ well down at 74 each. LeBron has 82 and Jones has 76.

2K’s very specific and easily explainable intangibles valuation shows LeBron at 98 and Reeves and Russ having equal intangibles valuations at 90.

Some of the Lakers’ Rumored or Potential Trade Targets Including Bojan Bogdanovic of Utahwhose 3-point rating of 82 is the best on the team. Buddy Hield of Indiana with a 3 point rating of 85. Pacers’ Myles Turner Would give Lakers two capable interior defenders with 87 ratings Meanwhile, New York’s Kam Reddish Considering how long the Lakers have been chasing him, a potential rating of 76 has to be something the Lakers disagree with.

Which assessment do you most agree or disagree with? Let us know in a heartfelt “definitely not pointless discussion” comment!
