Many claim that this is a ridiculous package that gives up Gobert. I will tell you this. The package Nets wanted for Durant would have been 100 times more ridiculous.
Yes, Durant is Durant. But the man is in his 16th season. I don’t know when the decline will begin, but rest assured. Will start. Wolves will have an absolutely zero future beyond Durant. Edwards, go. The town is gone. All the first draft topics of the foreseeable future are gone. And even during the year Minnesota would have had Durant, Durant must compete at the absolutely loaded Western Conference conference to launch Dangero Russell as his best teammate. Is not it? zero.
Oh yeah, Nets intends to aim for a star with this Durant contract. And they will probably land on the moon. But if this Minnesota rumor is a manifestation of their expectations at this point, they will have to let go of the pipe dream.
