NC State enhancing women’s basketball facilities

Raleigh – North Carolina State Athletics has announced plans to upgrade the Wolfpack women’s basketball locker room inside Reynolds Coliseum.

The plan honors the historic women’s basketball program at North Carolina State University by enhancing the student-athlete experience and providing upgrades that help teams compete and continue to win championships at the highest level.

Team Locker Room enhancements include:

  • Expanded player lounge and nutrition area
  • new player locker
  • Refurbished shower and toilet area
  • salon
  • Sleeping pods and water massage tables
  • New sound system and monitors, color-changing LED lighting

North Carolina’s women’s basketball program has enjoyed a rich history of success. In 48 seasons, the team earned her 27 NCAA tournament appearances and 13 ACC regular season or tournament titles.

The Wolfpack finished the 2021-22 campaign with an overall record of 32-4, the program’s first Elite Eight appearance since 1998. In 2022 he won the conference tournament for the third time in a row, and in the NCAA tournament he was the No. 1 seed for the second year in a row.
