In three seasons, Boyd appeared in 83 games and made seven career starts.In her career, she averaged 8.6 points per game. In her sophomore year, Boyd came off the bench where she averaged 11.5 points per game.

In 2021-22, she helped lead NC State to their third consecutive ACC tournament title. She was named to the All-Tournament Team after the Puck defeated Miami in the championship game. He played 3 games and had a field goal percentage of 64.7%.

North Carolina State’s only returning starter is senior wing Jaquia Brown Turner. Boyd is expected to contend for one of his four remaining spots.

She started seven games with the Wolfpack. Diamond Johnson will likely replace Raina Perez as the starting point guard for the pack, with Camille Hobby and Florida State transfer River Baldwin competing for the starting center spot.

If Wes Moore decides to go bigger this season, he could go with Boyd for one forward spot and South Carolina could move Sanya Rivers to the backcourt with Johnson. ‘s biggest competitor is Mimi Collins of Maryland.

As a sophomore, Boyd played 21.6 minutes per game and averaged 11.5 points per game. She missed her first six games of the 2021-22 season with her hand injury and made her debut on November 25 against Maryland.
