NCAA softball tournament 2022: Full super regionals bracket, TV schedule for Road to Women’s College World Series

The 2022 NCAA Softball Tournament Regional Round was nothing, if not exciting. There was confusion, such as Mississippi sweeping the second Florida two games. There was an explosion, like Oklahoma’s 1st place 20-0 victory over Texas A & M.

Now the real test is coming. Super Regional will start on May 26th. It’s only a week before the team can really dream of the glory of Oklahoma City.

The eight Super Regionals feature a cast of predominantly top-heavy characters this season. Still, five of the 16 regional hosts were eliminated in the last round. Upset can definitely happen.

Here’s all the information you need to see the next level of college softball post-season tournaments.

NCAA Softball Tournament Super Regional Host 2022

The winner of each double elimination regional has moved to Super Regional, the best of the three top-seeded series.

After that, the eight Super Regional winners will advance to the Women’s College World Series starting June 2. These eight teams will participate in the Double Elimination Bracket to decide which team will play in the NCAA title.

The tournament is already cluttered with some shocks. Stanford broke out of the bracket, including the sixth-seeded Alabama, and Mississippi surprised Second Florida to punch a ticket to the next round.

All future softball actions will be broadcast throughout ESPN’s network family from May 26th to 29th. Women’s College World Series will also be available through the ESPN network. Game times and channels are subject to change.

Women’s College World Series Schedule 2022

  • Super Regional: May 26-29
  • WCWS: June 2-10

After the Super Regional is over, the team will take a break for a few days. Then head to Oklahoma City to participate in the Women’s College World Series. The school plays with double elimination brackets to determine who will advance to the final.

All Women’s College World Series matches will be held at the USA Softball Hall of Fame Stadium. The Women’s College World Series begins on June 2nd and continues until June 10th.
