Ray Allen’s Clutch 3 Pointer, running out of time with regulation, sent the game to overtime. The Miami Heat defeated San Antonio Spurs at home in Game 6, 103-100. The victory was forced into Round 7.
The Spurs led 10 and entered the fourth quarter, leading 94-89 with 28.2 seconds remaining. The fever fan was leaving the arena.
LeBron James hit three pointers with 20.1 seconds remaining, reducing the deficit to 94-92. The Spurs then made one of two free throw attempts.
James missed three points, but Chris Bosh scored a rebound and found Allen who struck Clutch 3 from the corner to draw the game.
The Spurs had another chance to win the regulation, but Tony Parker missed an off-balance shot at the buzzer.
The heat dragged again during overtime, but the clutch bucket from James raised them to 101-100. They extended their lead to 103-100 and Bosch fired a clutch block shot with a buzzer, giving Miami a victory.
James finished with 32 points, 11 assists and 10 rebounds.
Tim Duncan finished in San Antonio with 30 points and 17 rebounds.
Miami won Round 7 and won the championship for the second year in a row. James was selected as the Final MVP.
