After a week away from competition, the National Champion kicks off the Nike Tournament of Champions (TOC) this week in Mesa, Arizona against St. Mary’s (Stockton, Calif.).
2. sierra canyon (Chatsworth, Calif.) (6-0 – 2nd)
Trailblazers have been quiet after their bye week as they prepare to open their Tarkanian Classic Action against Bishop Gorman, Nevada on Monday.
3. St John Bianniy (Holmdell, NJ) (2-0 – 3rd)
Finally held! And the Lancers beat Bishop His McNamara (MD) by his 70-56, then Mount St. He beat Mary Academy (NJ) to start the season well.
Four. Etiwanda (Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.) (10-0 – 4th)
Eagles lose to St. Paul (CA) In last week’s only game, Kennedy Smith scored 38 points, surpassing his 1,000 career points tally.
Five. La Jolla Country Day (La Jolla, Calif.) (10-0 – 5th)
In last week’s solo match, the Tories beat Bonita Vista (CA) 82-46. Start this week’s Nike TOC action with a tough squad for Miami Country Day (FL).
6. Montverde Academy (Montverde, Fla.) (10-0 – 6th)
The extended break will not bolster the team until after their three-day vacation at the Tampa Christmas Invitational (December 29-31).
7. Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN) (6-0 – 7th)
Sunajaagala had another big scoring game (a game-high 30 points) as the Royals remained undefeated on Saturday with a 24-point win over Eastridge (MN).
8. Incarnate Word Academy (Bernole, Missouri) (6-0 – 8th)
Fresh off the Iolani Classic title, the Red Knights entered the Viz Christmas Classic and opened with a 68-24 victory over Webster Groves (MO).
9. Preparing for your visit to Georgetown (Washington, DC) (3-0 – 9th)
They started playing in the Independent School League with a win over the Potomac (MD) and closed out the week by beating Virginia champion James Madison (57-30).
Ten. Lone Peak (Highlands, Utah) (5-1 – 10th)
Shawnee Nordstrom scored a game-high 20 points as they bounced back from losing to second-placed Sierra Canyon with a huge 81-40 win over Brighton (UT).
11. hazel green (Hazel Green, Alabama) (11-0 – 11th)
The Trojans all 11 was not only their 11th straight victory to start the season by handling the Buckhorn, but also their 11th victory in double digits.
12. South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX) (11-4 – 12th)
Is this the best team in Texas? Early returns were favorable for the Warriors, who pulled away from a tough stretch last week to crunch Lamar (TX).
13. Duncanville (Duncanville, TX) (10-4 – 13th)
Of course, the Pantherettes are always talking about the best team in the state. They cleared a big hurdle with his 62-55 big win over district rival DeSoto (TX).
14. St. John’s College (Washington, DC) (6-1 – 14th place)

Beating Bolingbrook (69-63), one of Illinois’ top teams, capped off another great week (which started with a blast against Glenn in the state).
17. Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, New York) (5-0 – 17th place)
Endurance? After debuting in the national rankings last week, the Crusaders had another big win with his 63-60 victory over Paul VI (NJ).
18. Clackamas (Clackamas, Oregon) (2-0 – 19th)
Changing the guard? After losing to state champions Beaverton last season, the Cavaliers turned to their nemesis with a monumental 42-38 win.
19. Clovis West (Fresno, Calif.) (11-0 – 20th place)
The ‘She Got Game Classic’ winner got a much-needed week off after a hectic start. She faces United South in her Florida-based KSA tournament on Tuesday.
20. Hoover (Hoover, Alabama) (17-0 – 21st)
Lady Bucs continued her perfect run in the Big Orange Classic (5-0) with a close victory over Hewitt Trussville (AL).
twenty one. Bishop McNamara (Forestville, Maryland) (2-3 – 18th)
Don’t let the records fool you. All of their losses have been against top 20 opponents, including an early loss to St. John Vianny (NJ) last week. Next is Nike TOC.
twenty two. DME Academy (Daytona Beach, Florida) (8-1 – 22nd)
Defeated IMG Academy in the finals to win their own “Jingle Jam” tournament. Olivia Schmidt was named tournament MVP.
twenty three. Centennial (Las Vegas, Nevada) (1-1 – 23rd)
Another program after the long vacation. The Bulldogs take on undefeated Arizona’s Flowing Wells at this week’s Nike TOC.
twenty four. West Bloomfield (West Bloomfield, Michigan) (3-1 – 24th)
They rebounded from the loss to face in-state opponents Heritage and Groves in No. 16 South Bend Washington. Still a lot of points.
twenty five. Archbishop Miti (San Jose, Calif.) (6-1 – 25th)
A bye week for Monarch after their first loss in Piedmont (CA). Get back to this week’s Nike TOC event in Arizona.
