Sentnor Scores In Debut To Give Women’s Soccer A Win Over UNCW

Chapel Hill, North Carolina – Freshman in Red Shirt Allie Sentner On Sunday afternoon, she scored the winning goal in her UNC regular season debut, leading the No. 10 Tar Heels to a 2–0 victory over the UNCW visit at Drans Field.

Centner missed the entire 2021 season after suffering a season-ending injury in a pre-season exhibition match against UNCW.

She returned to the squad on Friday after spending three weeks with Team USA at the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Costa Rica.

“I’m very happy to be back and it’s great to bring what I can to the team,” said Sentner.
