Shaquille O’Neal entered the NBA during Michael Jordan’s heyday and became basketball’s biggest icon.
The legendary center recalled a game where MJ dropped 64 points, but it was Shaq and the Magic who won.
At one point Jordan drove to the basket trying to dunk O’Neal. The rookie fouled the Bulls superstar and then tried to help him out.
“Mike taught me a valuable lesson,” recalled the four-time NBA champion. “I’ll go help him. He said, ‘Don’t help anyone. Big foe. I don’t need your help. I’ll be back. Don’t worry.'”
