Game 1 vs Grand Canyon Summary: Razorbucks didn’t look like a team that had lost four games in a row. They quickly jumped into a big lead. Cayden Wallace hit a pair of solo home runs in the game, raising Hoggs 1-0 in the first inning. Arkansas then kicked out WAC Pitcher of the Year Daniel Abitia after hitting four runs with three hits in the second inning and scoring just five outs.

Senior pitcher Connor Norland He showed toughness when he threw a jewel on the mound for Razorbacks. Norland fought in seven innings, allowing six hits and one run, and stalled six antelope runners to win his sixth victory of the season.

Game 2 vs OKLAHOMASTATE RECAP: Razorbucks was late in the third inning 7-2, but refused to leave. Hoggs continued to hang out before flipping the script in 8 runs at the top of the 8th inning. Arkansas finished with 16 hits in the game and benefited from 12 free passes (7 HBPs, 5 walks) issued by Oklahoma State University pitching. Six of them were done eight times. Oklahoma State University starting pitcher Justin Campbell, who has been seen by many as a candidate for the first round in the next MLB draft, allowed him five runs with seven hits in five innings.

Five razorbacks (Michael Turner, Chris Langiri, Robert Moore, Jaren Battle, Peyton Stobal) scored multiple hits, and Hoggs combined seven home runs. Moore hit his seventh and eighth home runs this year, and hit four home runs. Turner also hit eight home runs in the season with four RBIs, and this year’s ten home runs in Battles were out of control in the eighth Grand Slam. Ranjiri’s eighth home run of the season extended his lead to 19-12 at the top of the ninth inning.

The aggressive explosion helped offset a tough day for Arkansas pitching staff. Freshman starter Hagen Smith left the game after walking four batters and scoring just four outs. One of the pig’s best weapons throughout the season, Evan Taylor allowed four earned runs in one inning job. Junior LHP Zack Morris helped calm things down by throwing 3 innings, allowing 2 runs, and hitting 3 innings. Razorback pitchers combined to walk 11 batters in the game.
