Texas trio leads 2022 VolleyballMag.com NCAA Division I All-American teams

Logan Eggleston Currently a two-time VolleyballMag.com National Player of the Year, the Texas native will lead the 2022 VolleyballMag.com All-American Team. Read all about Eggleston here and watch our interview with the Texas outside hitter. She was joined by her national champion teammate in the first team. Zoe Fleck When Asia O’Neal.

VolleyballMag.com’s National Freshman of the Year Mimi Collier of Oregon. All of our voters got Collier No. 1. Purdue’s Eva His Hudson was nominated in nearly every top freshman poll, Florida’s Alexis Stuckey, Baylor’s Avery Carlson, Wisconsin’s Gallus He Guktekin, Stanford’s Area His Rubin also got votes .

This year’s coach is San Diego’s Jen Petrie. Read about her here and watch an interview with the coach who took her team to the NCAA semifinals for the first time.

There are again four national teams — starting in 2018 because three teams just aren’t enough in this talented sport — and an honorable mention list.

Eggleston, Collier and Petrie’s top winners for this particular year mirror the winners of the American Volleyball Coaches Association, but our team does not. VolleyballMag.com voters were instructed to list four teams, each of which had to include at least one He setter and He one libero. Additionally, VolleyballMag.com does not benefit from the restrictions and nomination process that the AVCA adheres to and will not close voting until after the NCAA semi-finals and finals.

Choosing these teams is no easy task. Not everyone agrees on who should be on which team, but everyone who watches, plays, coaches, and appreciates NCAA Division I volleyball is very impressed by the following list of players. I can agree with you.
