Coach Dawn Staley has no moves at the top as he puts South Carolina on pole position and becomes the first repeat national champion since her four-peat at his UConn in 2013-16.

Stanford: The only downside to the Cardinals’ schedule this season is a 5-point overtime loss to South Carolina in November, beating every other opponent (except Tennessee) by double digits. His late January meeting with currently undefeated Utah is going to be huge.

Ohio: Buckeyes is one of them. 4 unbeaten teams remaining in the country Big wins over formidable non-conference opponents (Louisville, Oregon, Tennessee) and well tested in a competitive Big 10 with two games still to go against both Indiana and Maryland.

Notre Dame: Fighting Irish started the ACC undefeated, dominating top 10 opponent Virginia Tech to finish in the top 5 of the latest Women’s Hoop Power 10. and into February.
