The Suns defeated the Bulls in triple overtime in Game 3 of the Finals on this date in 1993

The Phoenix Suns won an important road game in Chicago’s 129-121 in three extra times. The victory brought the Bulls lead in the series to 2-1.

The games were much closer, as the star players on both teams were great.

Both teams were unable to hit a shot at the end of the regulation. At the end of the first overtime, Phoenix missed three shots that could have won the game for them. In his second overtime, Dan Majerle hit a shot attempting a Sands match shortly before the time was up.he Finished at 28 points.. With his third overtime, Sands finally left the Bulls to win the road.

Charles Barkley finished with 24 points and 19 rebounds. Kevin Johnson bounced off the dreaded Game 2 and finished with 25 points, 9 assists and 7 rebounds. He played the game for 62 minutes.

Michael Jordan finished with 44 points from the Bulls, 9 rebounds and 6 assists. Scottie Pippen had 26 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists.

The Phoenix victory brought them back into the series, but the Bulls continued to win Game 4 and won the series in six games.

Jordan was selected as the Final MVP. He then left the NBA to play baseball in 1994.
