The Warriors clinched the NBA Finals five years ago today

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers 105-97 in Game 6 to win the 2015 NBA Finals.

The Warriors were excellent in the first quarter, surpassing the Cavaliers by 28-15. After LeBron James and JR Smith helped the Cleveland to take the lead in the fourth quarter, they led the Cavaliers by eight points three quarters later.

In the Golden State, both Stephen Curry and Andre Iguodala finished with 25 points. Draymond Green had 16 points, 11 rebounds, 10 assists and 3 steals.

James finished the Cavaliers with 32 points, 18 rebounds and 9 assists.

Iguodala was selected as the Finals MVP because he stepped up aggressively and his defenses helped contain James.
