Tigers 2022-23 season in jeopardy with PJ Hall injury

PJ Hall is definitely the best player in Clemson Basketball. But is the Tigers likely to succeed for him to start next season?

One of the breakout players ACC Last season was PJ Hall. This was a 6’10 forward graduated from high school, a former top 100 new employee, who averaged just a few points at 10mpg as a freshman at Clemson Basketball before a major second grade campaign.

hole Leading the Tigers at 15.5ppg, adding 5.8rpg and 1.6apg. His 22 points against Woford in the second game of the season set the stage for him to be a consistently good front court scorer throughout the year. He was double-digit in all but one game he played for more than a minute, scoring four double-doubles and a 28-point career record with a shot from the free-throw line that he lost to Florida on December 13.

The hall started forward hunter Tyson (10.0 ppg in 25 games) and was one of the best front courts in ACC last season. And with a solid trio of backcourt guards (Al Amyldoze, David Collins, Nick Horner), the team should have done better than the overall record of 17-16 (8-12) in 2022. But after losing all three guards, the roster has some questions, even before the recent injury to the hall.

For basketball players dealing with knee injuries, it should always be seen as a serious concern. Fortunately, this isn’t a “season ender” and the hall will be back in November. The season starts on the 7th and you may play at least the first few games.

And that could put Clemson in a tough situation next season. As a result, Tyson remained as the remaining double-digit scorer and the team did not add much from the transfer portal this offseason. There was a former Boston University security guard. Brevin Galloway As a lonely newcomer. Red-shirt freshman Joshua Beadle, three-star freshman Dillon Hunter, and returnee players Chase Hunter and Alex Hemenway will be under great pressure to become Clemson’s impact players.

While the hole is back, they need to find a way to find the attack, and even if he returns, it can take some time to reach 100%. This can be up to the new calendar year. If Clemson Basketball suffered too many bad losses before then, it may not have already been run for post-season bidding. And that could be a big issue for Brad Brownell and the future of his program.
