APs

There is no rule that every undefeated team in college football must be ranked when the calendar rolls around October, but there should be.

16 teams have remained undefeated this season and you can find all 16 here.

I wouldn’t mind winning like #1 Georgia in Oregon, Samford, South Carolina, Kent, Missouri. Like James Madison on my new 25th team, I wouldn’t mind beating Central Tennessee, Norfolk, Appalachia, Texas. If you have a perfect record so far in the season, I will vote for you.

It’s been a wild week of college football. 10 ranked teams lost. Many others won ugly. Want to reward your team for doing business each week?

Four new undefeated teams have joined the party.

UCLA is my highest ranked rookie at #17, TCU is #19, Coastal Carolina is #24 and James Madison is #25.

And although they lost one game, they also voted for rookie Mississippi State in 18th place after beating Texas A&M.

top does not change

I thought about punishing Georgia against Missouri on Saturday. The Tigers aren’t good, but they still pushed the Bulldogs to the brink.

But Georgia still has an incredibly impressive win over Oregon on their resume and found a way to win on the streets of the SEC when the Bulldogs clearly weren’t doing their best.

Alabama is yet to win big. Ohio State looked great, but the Buckeyes played a weak schedule. Clemson have not had an impressive win enough to get promoted. Neither Michigan nor he USC.

In the end, I didn’t make any changes at the top of the poll.

team on the rise

Oklahoma State was the biggest climber of the week, jumping to seventh after a road win over Baylor. The Bears beat the Cowboys last season when it mattered most. But Mike Gandy’s team got revenge this weekend.

They look like the winning team in the Big 12 at the moment.

Mississippi also made the top 10 after beating Kentucky. Wake Forest in Utah, Penn State University in Oregon and BYU also moved up in my ranking.

football state

Both K-State and KU made it into the top 25 again.

The Jayhawks only held on to No. 20 after one of the ugliest wins Iowa has ever seen.

The Wildcats moved up to No. 22 with a home win over Texas Tech.

Selfishly, I hope both teams stay ranked until we play at the end of the season on November 26th. The Sunflower Showdown is he one of the oldest rivals in the country, but KU and K-State have only met once when they were both. ranking. It happened in his 1995, with the Wildcats winning big in Manhattan.

Excuse me

Arkansas, Minnesota, Oklahoma, Texas A&M and Washington all made the top 25 this week.

The Huskies are the only team I would consider keeping.

I have a serious question about Sooners. If you don’t change your defense, you may have a hard time making a bowl game.

on deck

If I voted for 30 teams instead of 25, Cincinnati, Florida, Purdue, Washington, WA would be more likely to be my vote.
