FAYETVILLE, Arkansas – Water shortages associated with the Arkansas Razorbacks and the Liberty Bowl made second page news just before halftime.
This is because the water outage only affected fans attending the game against Kansas in Memphis. However, his Twitter outage, which began mid-game around 6:13 p.m., affected an even larger portion of his fan base.
For better or worse, Razorbacks are known to have fans who have the strongest emotional reactions to each of the game’s ups and downs.
The outage reportedly spanned the globe, with the exception of a lucky handful of people who still had spotty access on certain mobile phone platforms.
Mostly asking Raheim Sanders during halftime if he knew what happened, complaining about quarterback KJ Jefferson being thrown into the bases of the stadium bleachers, or holding the call. There was no outlet to repeatedly vomit about what to do.
How many could have argued about Quincy McAdoo crushing a Kansas receiver with a legal hard-hit put him to sleep standing over him when serious injury still seemed possible. I taunted him before doing the motion.
Fans either relied too much on the running game when Arkansas built a big lead in the second quarter, or went wild when they squeezed half of the third quarter on the running game to establish a physical edge over Kansas. We couldn’t talk about celebrating.
The Arkansas believers sat helplessly, all they could do was explode at the people in the room.The dog and the Christmas tree were still lit in the corner of the room.
As the lead slowly faded away, it became clear Arkansas fans needed a social media hero.
