US Law Helps International Students Attend College, Play Sports

This year, the US federal law, which requires women and men to participate in the same occasions in school activities such as sports, is 50 years old.

This is part of federal law known as Title IX. This affects educational institutions such as schools and universities that receive money from the federal government.

One of the goals of the law is to give women and girls a fair opportunity to play sports at school and receive the same treatment as men and boys. As a result, many women who are good at sports were also able to receive financial support for the university.

The law also helps people from other countries.

For Maria Bulanova of Russia, Title IX means she was able to compete in bowling sports and earn money to attend a school at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

For other international students who are good at sports, working in sports may be useful. agency..The agency is Promotion Athletes to the university you are looking for.

But the agency does the job in return for the payment. One such institution is the Boston-based USA College Sport. It is operated by Deljan Bregasi of Albania. He was a soccer player who began studying and playing sports in the United States when he was young.

He started his business in 2015. Since then, Mr. Bregashi said he has helped 300 students make money to go to college. He charges each student $ 3,200.

He started by working with boys who played soccer in Italy and Albania. After that, he added other sports and started working with young women in 2018.
