Why fan disappointment to Michigan football loss to TCU is good

Glendale, Arizona — It can be difficult to see the ray of hope, especially after an emotional loss. But certainly the 2022 season wasn’t a disaster for Michigan football.

See, losing to TCU in the college football playoffs was more than disappointing. The confluence of events that began with the failed Colston Loveland Pass was sustained and far-reaching. Michigan should have scored a point, but they didn’t. After a three-and-out by TCU, JJ McCarthy threw the pick six – the first of his two in the game – and the game began for Yakety Sax. Just as Michigan seemed to be on the board, Karel Mullings’ goal-line blunder further indicated it wasn’t Wolverine’s day.

Still, Mays and Blue continued to fight and had the ball in their hands as time went on and had a chance to win the game. Despite losing 21-3 and always on their feet. It was a battle, but uncharacteristic mistakes from both the coaching staff and players continue to back up.

Worse still, Georgia It proved to be an instant killer at Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. This shows that this could really have been the year of Michigan.

But a College Football Playoff loss, however disappointing and infuriating, does not define a successful season as a whole.

Of the many goals the Wolverines had this season, the last one–winning the college football playoff semifinals and a national championship–was not met. significantly exceeded.the media thinks it’s too late Ohio, Pennsylvaniaand — some — Michigan, Michigan beat all three teams—convincingly. Starlight Big Ten won his championship for the second time and will be back next year as the core of the team this year. Despite being over the limit in terms of the unavailability of the best players on both sides of the ball, the Wolverines managed to win the final two games of the conference, and the Wolverines will do so in his one season in 2022. Won more matches than ever before.

This is not to say, for fans, that the ending of what looked like a promising season as Michigan was able to achieve and win its first national championship in 25 years was not beyond disappointing. Of course, that’s sad, and the fans should be hoping for more effort from the team. It’s not just Michigan’s hopes of beating Ohio State, winning the conference, and making it to the playoffs of college football. Expectations are high for the official version. And that’s good.

But hopes are high for the program, and even if the loss at TCU is disappointing, don’t lose sight of what’s to come this season and the accomplishments that got Michigan to this point in the first place. Because it wasn’t too long ago that none of these achievements seemed far-fetched, except in the shallow.
