The most distinctive and unusual regular season event for college basketball next season will take place at Milwaukee’s professional baseball field.
Wisconsin Play Stanford At men’s basketball on Friday, November 11, sources told CBS Sports. On the women’s side, Wisconsin faces Kansas. According to sources, the doubleheader is being billed as “Aurora Healthcare Brew City Battle” and the game will take place at the American Family Field, home of Milwaukee Brewers. The exact match time with the TV partner has not yet been determined, sources said. Every December, the sports marketing company Intersport, which runs CBS Sports Classic, hosts this event.
Men’s college basketball continues to add non-conference multi-team events, making it difficult to sort out what stands out from the November mini-tournament stuff. This is certainly eligible.
