Women’s Golf Jumps to No. 9 Ranking in Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll

Coral Springs, Florida – As announced by the Women’s Golf Coaches Association on Friday, the Ole Miss Women’s Golf Team took a giant leap forward in the latest Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll, moving the Rebels to 9th place in the country.

The ranking gained 330 points in the latest edition of the poll, up 21 places from 30th on September 2nd. Ouremis is back in the top 10 of the Mizuno WGCA Coaches Poll for the first time since his ranking in the 2021 preseason. The Rebels finished sixth in the nation after winning his NCAA National Championship that spring.

The Rebels kicked off the fall season two weeks ago with a great performance at the Cougar Classic two weeks ago and Ole Miss winning the team tournament title. Andrea Rignell First university medalist finish.

Ole Miss ran a blistering 13-under in three rounds of the tournament, and Rignell’s three-day total was 204 (-9), not only setting a new career-high 54-hole total for a senior, but also second-most. tied a low 54 to -Personal hole scores in Rebels program history.
