Chapel Hill, North Carolina – The University of North Carolina women’s soccer team will travel to Missouri for the Tar Heels to face the home Tigers at 1:00 PM ET, ending a three-game road stretch on Thursday.

It will be the first match between Carolina and Missouri since 2010, and just the third overall. UNC beat the Tigers 7-0 in 2001 in Durham, North Carolina, and the last time they played was in Chapel Hill, where he won 6-1, making it the series’ winningest game so far.
The Tar Heels kicked off the road stretch with a 2-0 win in Texas on Thursday, August 25, followed by a 6-0 win over Baylor in Austin on Sunday, August 28.
Missouri ends in a 1-1 draw in Omaha on Sunday. The Tigers are his 2-1-1 record this season with wins over Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois and a loss to Ohio State. Junior defender Grace Pettet has two goals to make him lead MU, while Milena Fischer has his team-high two assists.
