Rounding out each weight class were tournament predictions of who would be placed based on previous matchups, common opponents, and basic knowledge of who. However, a simple ranking-based scoring system (1st = 8 points, 2nd = 7 points, etc.) allowed us to create a running total across each prediction to get an idea of the final score. . Was there a bit of Mizzou bias in my results? This makes him one of the most talented teams to have passed the program in recent years. The culture and competition within the wrestling room created a must-see program and an exciting atmosphere to participate in.

Many of the results are likely to change throughout the year, even the rest of the offseason. There is plenty of time between now and the beginning of the season for things to change and wrestlers to move around.

Having multiple freshmen coming in and potentially jumping into the starting line-up quickly could be a game-changer for most teams. With young and talented wrestlers competing within the Big 12, there will be exciting matches in the years to come!
