EuroBasket 2022, the latest edition of the quarterly tournament to determine European basketball champions, was flipped on Thursday (September 1), with matches in the Czech Republic, Georgia, Italy and Germany until September 18. The tournament begins with a Group Stage with four groups of six teams competing. Each group is played in a round-robin fashion, with each team playing his five other teams in the group once. Teams will receive 2 points for a win and 1 point for a loss, with the top 4 teams from each group advancing to the knockout stage. If two teams are tied on points, a head-to-head matchup will be the first tiebreaker. Subsequent tiebreaks will be points difference and points will be added if necessary.

The 16 teams that advance to the Knockout Stage will be placed in the bracket based on their qualifying standings. From there, it will be a single-elimination match up to the final on September 18th in Berlin.
